David Csumrik, BA, LLB
Chief Executive Officer, Pinnacle MedSuites
David Csumrik is the Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle MedSuites, bringing over three decades of international business, legal, and financial expertise to the organization. He leads Pinnacle’s strategic growth with a focus on operational excellence and long-term value creation, positioning the company as a scalable and sustainable investment in the future of healthcare infrastructure.
As founder and CEO of Longview Associates, a group of companies operating in Barbados and the British Virgin Islands since 1998, Mr. Csumrik has managed cross-border investments, corporate services, and private lending operations. His deep understanding of asset structuring and financial governance provides the foundation for Pinnacle’s solid business model and expansion strategy.
Mr. Csumrik also serves as President of J. Ennis Fabrics International Inc. and Mariner Seafoods International Inc., and is Chief Financial Officer and major shareholder of Smart Earth Camelina Corp., a global innovator in plant-based omega oils. Under his financial direction, Smart Earth’s seed division was acquired by Bayer AG in 2024 — demonstrating his ability to develop ventures to acquisition-ready scale.
Earlier in his career, he practiced corporate and technology law in British Columbia and served as CFO of Consumers Software, the developer of the platform later acquired by Microsoft and evolved into Exchange and Outlook.
Mr. Csumrik holds degrees in Economics and Accounting from the University of Toronto and Law from the University of British Columbia. His leadership at Pinnacle reflects his commitment to transforming innovative ideas into profitable, enduring enterprises.
Christina L. M. Dowell, MBBS
Chief Operating Officer, Pinnacle MedSuites
Christina Dowell is a physician, healthcare entrepreneur, and clinical researcher committed to advancing ophthalmology, preventative health, and innovative healthcare delivery. She is President and Chief Operating Officer of Pinnacle MedSuites in Barbados, a state-of-the-art medical co-working hub designed to support independent physicians and modernize healthcare practice.
Dr. Dowell completed residency training in General Surgery (Preliminary) at Jackson Memorial Hospital and Internal Medicine (Preliminary) at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, followed by one year of Ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.
Her research and leadership have focused heavily on pediatric glaucoma and preventable blindness through her role as Caribbean Director for the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute’s Samuel & Ethel Balkan International Pediatric Glaucoma Center. She has coordinated international outreach and early screening initiatives in Suriname and Barbados, presenting her work at leading conferences including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Global Ophthalmology Summit.
In addition to her ophthalmology focus, Dr. Dowell is passionate about preventive and lifestyle medicine. Drawing on her background as a competitive athlete and advocate for wellness, she emphasizes the role of nutrition, exercise, and community health strategies in reducing the burden of non-communicable diseases.
Through her blend of clinical research, healthcare innovation, and entrepreneurial leadership, Dr. Dowell continues to build a career centered on collaboration, prevention, and patient-centered care, with a clear vision to advance both ophthalmology and holistic healthcare across the Caribbean and beyond.
